唱片简介：CARCASS是来自英国的超级死亡金属乐队，乐队的创始人- 贝司手兼主唱 Jeff Walker上学是学生物研究，显然他是学以致用，歌词中充满了各种医学词汇。因此他们早期是的音乐经常被认为是开创“医学名词流派”的Grindcore的经典乐队。他们的音乐经常用晦涩难懂的医学词汇去描写赞美血淋淋的人体器官，非常病态，与Grindcore 中其他暴徒般的气质的音乐有很大的区别，更多了一分扭曲的理智和思考在其中，而且编排上远较其他 Grindcore 乐队复杂。

Reissued by Earache on April 14th 2009 as a part of Earache's classic series remastered in a slipcase with the Wake Up and Smell the... Carcass DVD as a bonus.

The cover is a photo of John F. Kennedy's autopsy.
